Jim Bradley is arguably the greatest high school football coach the state of New Mexico has ever seen.
Bradley is a champion and a Hall of Famer. Look no further than the 310 wins as a head coach(the most in state history), the seven state titles as head coach(five at Mayfield and two at Roswell), and three state titles as an assistant coach (one of them for Las Cruces High back in 1959).
He has also been a runner-up in the finals game eight times as a head coach. When Jim won his first state title in 1971 at Mayfield, it wasn't until he returned that the Trojans broke a 24 year hex of not winning a state championship. In 1995, Bradley brought home the second ever title for Mayfield. If one person symbolizes the Cruces-Mayfield rivlary, and personifies coaching excellence, it is Jim Bradley.
Jim bradley is in his fifth year as offensive coordinator at Mayfield high school. Jim was born and bred in las cruces, he also attended Las Cruces high school and
new mexico state university.
